Now here’s something to cluck about—Klosterman Baking Company won two Supplier Awards at the Chick-fil-A Bun Summit held in October!
As part of the summit, special awards were presented to the bakeries with the highest bun evaluation scores in 2023. Among the 30+ bakeries present, our Springboro, OH bakery took home first place and our Morristown, IN bakery finished third.
Additionally, our route driver Tyler Farmer received the Driver of the Year award for his exceptional service to Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Nashville market. In recognition of his hard work and dedication to safety, Tyler also received a check for $1,000 from the Klosterman leadership team.

As an Energy Star Partner, we have established a continuously improving energy policy to provide structure and accountability, ensure that we efficiently use our resources, and remain compliant with governmental policies. Our environmental program monitors the impact of our manufacturing process on the environment. We are responsible for the effect of our carbon footprint. It’s important to us that we reduce, reuse, and recycle to diminish the amount of waste produced.
ENERGY STAR is a voluntary labeling program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) aimed at helping companies improve energy efficiency by comparing their energy performance to other U.S. manufactures within their industry.
